Thank you to every one involved in our 2018 Annual Fundraiser Banquet, “A NEW HOPE.” It was a HUGE success, and God has used so many of you to continue to do His work here at the Women’s Resource Center.

As our primary fundraising effort, we rely heavily on our banquet each year to generate finances for:

  • client services: ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, educational materials
  • utilities
  • facility cost
  • office supplies
  • baby boutique supplies
  • and more…

We are pleased to announce that we had 360 people in attendance and raised $48,ooo this year–give God all the glory! Your contribution matters, and we cannot do this ministry without your support. Thank you so much for all you do for the Kingdom of God through the Women’s Resource Center.

The 2018 WRC banquet was a dinner fundraiser with an auction and music.  Our guest speaker was Ryan Dobson, son of Dr. James Dobson, former co-host of Family Talk and co-founder of
“The value of having a great marriage is beyond description. Being close with your kids beyond comparison.” ~ Ryan Dobson

“Legacy of Life,” August 12, 2017:

legacy of life background (3)This night was amazing! We are so grateful to Pam Tebow for speaking about the God stories of her life and of pregnancy centers, and for the Hogan family who blessed us with good ol’ gospel music.    The Limestone County Event Center was full and the atmosphere was great.  The center was blessed by so many of you who sponsored this event and shared the mission of the WRC with their friends.  We are thankful for all those who joined us in this 30-year celebration.  God has done so many great things and we look forward to the many things He will do in the future.  We are thankful for the $8,245 given to the center and the additional $21,000 given to a new space for the WRC.   We would like to thank all of you have given to support the life-saving, life-affirming work of the center.

Pam Tebow, Keynote Speaker

Her notoriety increased when her youngest son won the Heisman Trophy following his sophomore football season with the Florida Gators. Because ESPN aired the portion of the interview with Pam that focused on her refusal to abort “Timmy” when she was advised to do so, she has been given a national platform to encourage the prolife message. In 2010, Pam and Tim were in a Super Bowl commercial that celebrated family and life, which, according to a Barna survey, resulted in 5.5 million people “having cause to rethink their stand on abortion.” She has also appeared on Good Morning America and won national awards, including Eagle Forum’s “Woman of the Year” and “Witness in the Public Square” in 2012, “Commission for Women “Inspiring Woman of the Year” in 2013, and “Extraordinary Woman of the Year” in 2014. Pam is also passionate about encouraging women to trust the Lord with all their hearts for all their lives and to use the incredible influence God has given them to eternally impact their world

“Every Life is a Gift,” 2016:

The evening, highlighted by special guest, Pastor Andy Merritt, was a beautiful evening honoring the God who gives us life.  Pastor Merritt touched our hearts with first-hand accounts of women dramatically changed by pregnancy centers. Not a dry eye was in the room.  Over two hundred people witnessed, first hand, the life saving and life changing impact of this ministry.  Those in attendance graciously and generously responded by donating almost $22,000 to help the center meet its budget needs.  The evening would not have been possible without the diligent efforts of countless volunteers, and we are so thankful to everyone who helped make this event an enormous success.  The center was also presented this night with nearly $50,000 from the profit of the sale of the Life House built by Trinity Homes this spring.  This donation is designated for a future home for the center.
